Dr. Brad Ferguson
Dr. Brad Ferguson completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Francis Xavier University in 2008. He then graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2012, achieving cum laude and clinic honours designations. Dr. Ferguson furthered his education by completing the Sports Sciences Residency Program at CMCC, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada), one of only a handful in Atlantic Canada. Dr. Ferguson is also a certified Medical Acupuncture Provider, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Red Cross Emergency First Responder.
He has completed over 3,000 on-field hours with various sports and has been part of medical teams for the Pan Am Games, Nova Scotia Weightlifting Association, U SPORTS, World Beach Volleyball, North American Indigenous Games, and many more. He is also the team trainer for the East Hants Senior Penguins Hockey Club.
Dr. Ferguson’s approach to care involves treating each patient as a unique individual. Using a variety of treatment methods-including manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise prescription, and patient education-he combines the latest evidence with clinical expertise to create individualized care plans that address each patient’s health concerns.
In his spare time, he enjoys staying active through hockey, golf, weight training, and running. He is a proud husband and father of twochildren, Norah and Beau. He has proudly called East Hants home since 2015 and values being involved in community events and giving back.

Alex Egers
Alex was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where he attended the University of New Brunswick, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2018, holding both Dean’s List and Academic All-Canadian honours. He then completed a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2020. Since completing his physiotherapy degree, he has remained in Nova Scotia, serving mainly rural communities.
Alex’s approach to physiotherapy is patient-centred and combines patient education, manual therapy techniques, and a strong focus on individualized exercise programs. Ultimately, Alex’s goal is to help address his patients’ unique needs and provide them with the tools to be successful in reaching their rehabilitation goals using tailored treatment plans.
Growing up, Alex was heavily involved in activities and sports, playing and training for hockey, soccer, and volleyball at high levels, with the highest level being University Volleyball while attending the University of New Brunswick. Alex brings his passion for sports and exercise into his practice, and when he is not working, he can be found at the gym, on the golf course, on the court, relaxing with friends, or returning home to visit family.

Dr. Josh Rodley
Dr. Rodley is a chiropractor and fitness enthusiast with a special interest in sports and performance injuries. He uses an evidence-based treatment approach that includes active rehabilitation, spinal manipulation therapy (adjustments), joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and electroacupuncture, all paired with thorough patient education. Ultimately, he strives to help his patients reach their goals, tailoring a specific treatment plan to fit their unique situation.
Dr. Rodley completed a Bachelor of Science, Honours in Kinesiology from Queen’s University. He furthered his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2022. Throughout his studies, Dr. Rodley worked as a student athletic therapist at the Royal Military College of Canada and completed a Strength and Conditioning internship at Queen’s. These experiences gave him valuable, hands-on knowledge of sports injury and performance, and ultimately shaped his goal of becoming a rehab-based chiropractor.
To best serve the public, Dr. Rodley has completed additional training in neurofunctional acupuncture, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (sFMA), Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Performance Therapy. He is also a Red Cross-certified emergency first responder.
Dr. Rodley currently serves as head trainer and chiropractor for the East Hants Jr. B Penguins hockey team, in-clinic and sideline care to support the team throughout the season. He has also worked as a first responder and onsite chiropractor at a number of high-level sporting events, including the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, the Canoe World Championship, and the North American Indigenous Games.

Zach Jones
Born and raised in the Halifax area, Zach has been involved in martial arts since 2005 and is currently a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach.
Following an unfulfilling stint as an accountant, Zach decided to pursue his passion for learning about the human body. This led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and a Diploma in Massage Therapy from ICT Northumberland College.
Skilled in deep tissue massage, Zach believes in taking a balanced approach and tailoring each treatment to the individual needs of his clients.

Talana Henley
Talana Henley graduated from St Thomas University, with a Bachelor of Arts in 2004. She went on to graduate from ICT Northumberland College Registered Massage Therapy in 2011.
She has advanced training in sports, pregnancy, cranial sacral, and myofascial release.
Talana specializes in sports, deep tissue and pregnancy massage. She enjoys treating clients who suffer from migraines, TMD, concussions and veterans.
Talana is an active member of the Canadian Sports Massage Therapy Association, SMF. She is also the Commaning Officer of the local army cadet unit in Enfield, of which she has been a member sincr 2002. A recipient of the Canadian Forces Decoration, CD, and an Advanced Wilderness First Responder.

Sarah Ribahi
Sarah was born and raised in East Hants and graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2023. During her studies, she gained valuable experience through specialized clinics focused on neurological conditions, sports therapy, and enhanced patient care. She is also certified in cupping therapy.
Sarah is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every client. She takes a personalized approach to treatment, helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals while maintaining or improving function. Her focus is on supporting clients as they return to their daily activities with greater comfort, confidence, and ease.

Mark Vander Doelen
Mark is originally from Ontario but is now officially an East Coaster and lives in Cole Harbour with his wife and dog. He is a proud and passionate member of the Renew Health Clinic team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University.
He is a passionate physiotherapist who believes in living a holistic balanced lifestyle. He strongly advocates for an active lifestyle and takes a physical activity approach to treatment. His main treatment methods are exercise and education. He strongly believes that clients should understand their condition to best manage it, and he strives to teach them how to manage their injuries/condition. He utilizes individualized exercise prescription to help address an individual’s needs and tailors exercise prescription to your specific needs. In addition to exercise and education he compliments his treatment plans with a variety of hands-on techniques (Manual Therapy), and other treatment modes such as bracing, taping and guidance on home pain management. Additionally, Shockwave therapy treatment is available through physiotherapy with Mark. Through treatment his goal is to help you get back from injury and live the lifestyle that you want to live.
Outside of the clinic Mark is very passionate about sports and coaching. He is heavily involved in the Nova Scotia football community being involved at various levels. He is a coach with the U-18 Team Nova Scotia Provincial Tackle Football Team and is currently the Wide Receivers Coach for the Acadia Axemen University Football Team. Through his time coaching he has developed very strong coaching and instruction skills that he applies in his physiotherapy practice. When not at the clinic or coaching Mark loves to stay active by lifting weights, playing golf, hiking or walking his goldendoodle Sunny.
